A Kiwi’s Journey
This project focuses on visual storytelling through a structured storyboard sequence. I designed a narrative about a kiwi fruit overcoming bullying, using character design and scene progression to convey emotion and theme.
FRAME 1:
Kiwi gets bullied by Green Apple and Cherry for being a fuzzy fruit.
FRAME 4:
The Kiwi stands in front of a TV screen watching a news program. The headline reads “SCIENTISTS DECLARE FUZZY FRUITS ‘MAGICAL’”. The Kiwi is shocked.
FRAME 2:
ZOOM on Kiwi, revealing tears in his eyes.
FRAME 5:
The Kiwi, who has removed his hat due to his renewed confidence, runs into his bullies. They are wearing wigs.
FRAME 3:
A young fit person holds up Red Apple, along with a sign promoting smooth fruits. An audience cheers. The Kiwi watches alone from a distance.
FRAME 6:
Green Apple and Cherry admit they are jealous of the Kiwi’s fuzz.
