Paper Prophet
This logo demonstrates brand identity development through typography and stylistic exploration. I designed Paper Prophet, a punk-inspired zine brand that uses a raw, grunge aesthetic to represent youth-driven, underrepresented voices.
Process
I began the logo design process with rough sketches. I knew I wanted the logo to feel authentic and personal, so I decided to keep some hand-drawn imperfect details from the original sketches as I continued the process.
I brought my favorite sketches to life using Adobe Illustrator. Ultimately, I decided to stick to a text-driven logo without supporting imagery. This allows for the design to be used in various forms and purposes as the brand grows.
